Employment at Shore Lanes

Shore Lanes is always looking for fun outgoing staff members who enjoy working with the public. We are looking for people who appreciate the opportunity to work as well as learn new skills. We have a continuous training program that teaches basic customer service, maintenance procedures as well as high end skills that will make you successful here at Shore Lanes, but also that you can take with you on your employment journey.

Current Opportunities

Manager

Managers work anywhere from 35-40 hours per week throughout the bowling season(8 months) and anywhere from 30-35 hours during the off season. You must have a basic understanding of league-based businesses and enjoy working with the public. League growth, open bowling, membership and outside sales will be apart of the position. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, oversee the facility, and must be able to troubleshoot arising issues. Salary is open and based on experience.


Mechanic

If you are have experience working on A-2 pinsetters or are extremely mechanically inclined then we may have a position for your. We offer 40 hours during the bowling season and up to 30 during the Summer months.


Cook

Part time, evenings and weekends. Duties include cooking in an open kitchen, food prep. stocking and cleaning. Must work well in a team and individually. Candidates must be able to work a busy line with speed, accuracy and consistency. Some cooking experience required. Starting wage $11.50/hour, plus some tips.

Server

Part time, evenings and weekends. Duties include cooking in an open kitchen, food prep. stocking and cleaning. Must work well in a team and individually. Candidates must be able to work a busy line with speed, accuracy and consistency. . Waitstaff wages, plus some tips.

Front Desk

Part time, evenings and weekends. Organization, high energy, exceptional service skills and cash handling experience required. Some bowling knowledge a plus. Duties include: guest service, issuing lanes, taking reservations and answering phones. In this variety-oriented position, you will interact with guests of all ages. Opportunity for advancement. Must be 18. Starting wage is based on work experience plus some tips

Floor Staff

Part time, evenings and weekends. Duties include: maintaining a clean facility during operating hours, helping guests on the lanes, making corrections at the automatic scorers and other miscellaneous duties. Must be at least 16 years of age. Starting wage is $10.50 /hour, plus some tips.
